Exciting Intellectual Property Course Coming to Houston!!

Dear Houston Area Students,

We have an exciting course opportunity to announce for Fall 2008! Intellectual Property for Information Professionals is being taught once again, and you don't want to miss the chance to take the course. This class would be beneficial for all types of information professionals - not just legal librarians. Keep in mind that intellectual property is a hot topic in our field.

The instructor for the course is Mon Yin Lung, Associate Director, University of Houston O'Quinn Law Library. She holds a JD from the University of Kansas and a MSLS from Lousiana State University. Most importantly, she has many years of experience in law libraries, and she enjoys teaching.

The course is taught in a blended format and meets on the following dates 9/13, 9/27, 10/11, 10/25, 11/8, & 12/6 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on the University of Houston Campus.

The course will introduce you to legal issues and information resources related to lintellectual property as well as address legal issues related to libraries and librarians.
