UNT's Houston LISSA chapter was started to provide support for University of North Texas Library and Information Science students in the Houston and southeast Texas region. Throughout the semester, Houston LISSA will be organizing events, both social and academic, and providing information on classes, professional development opportunities, job-search strategies, and other topics of interest to LIS students and professionals.
