Fellow Houston-Area Students:
Houston LISSA is now accepting nominations for new officers to serve the students of the UNT SLIS Houston Program for the 2008-09 academic year. If you are a current student, and would like to become more involved with LISSA here in the Houston area, do not miss this opportunity! The positions to be filled are: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Member-at-large. You may ask a fellow student to nominate you or nominate yourself. A short bio is required to accompany the nomination.
Nominations must be sent to Cheryl Rowan, Houston Program Student Coordinator, no later than Monday, July 28, 2008. The actual election for Houston LISSA will be held virtually on Monday, August 4, 2008. We look forward to hearing from you!
