Library School Social in Houston

Our End of Semester bash was fun. Brasil's has yummalicious pizza, the Margherita was most tasty of the three, eggpland, 4 cheeses were the other two.

Nancy, Monica and I rounded out the LISSA team, and we met the Law Librarian duo, Emily, new to Houston SLIS, and Michelle Lucero, our alum. who moved here from Vegas.
Dede Rios, our dedicated alum from San Antonio, now an academic librarian at St. Mary's made it, and 'twas wonderful to see her.

A new face, Donald, who survived 5200, his first semester had and interesting link to Steven Ring and UH-Downtown, through his fiance, Katanya. She interviewed Steven's wife, he was looking for Steven Ring at Main Campus, and ran into Steven Perkins, UH's reference coordinator, also posseses a JD, and in attendance!! Quelle coincidence, it's a small library world!!

Susan Brasseaux and Jena Krauss our December graduates made it out to celebrate. John Ronald make it in as well, from Galveston!! Bob Bartlett was there as well and educated me on the fin! What a strange term for a fiver! Fins have five metadorsals/fingers, hence the name... who woulda thought??!!

That's all for tonight!
