Discovery Camp 2014
Discovery Camp at University of Houston’s MD Anderson Library will return this fall onThursday, October 16th from 9am – 4pm.
Discovery Camp is a FREE event! Breakfast and lunch are included with registration.
Marshall Breeding, creator and editor of Library Technology Guides, will be our keynote speaker, discussing trends in web scale discovery and resource management systems. The event will also feature a panel discussion, breakout sessions, and vendor demonstrations.

Who Should Attend?
This will be the third Discovery Camp event at University of Houston. In the past, librarians from research universities, special libraries, community colleges, and public libraries have attended. The event is intended for libraries that have a discovery platform in place or want to learn more about them. Attendees are encouraged to bring their questions and share their experiences.
Librarians and staff from academic, special, and public libraries are encouraged to attend.
No prior experience with web-scale discovery or resource management tools is required.
