Fellow Houston-Area Students:
Houston LISSA is now accepting nominations for new officers to serve the students of the UNT SLIS Houston Program for the 2011-2012 academic year. If you are a current student, and would like to become more involved with LISSA here in the Houston area, do not miss this opportunity! The positions to be filled are: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Member-at-large. You may ask a fellow student to nominate you or nominate yourself. A short bio is required to accompany the nomination.
Nominations must be sent to Caroline Castillo, Houston Program Student Coordinator, no later than Friday, October 7th, 2011. The Houston LISSA election will be held virtually with polls opening October 9th at noon and closing October 12th at 11:59pm. We look forward to hearing from you!
